International recording artiste Dudsymil has been creating waves with his pop-influenced song and video ‘Go Away’, which he released earlier this year.
The song, produced jointly by his label Sky Factory Music and Thunder Dome Sounds, which is owned by the great Canadian jazz pianist Eddie Bullen, speaks of a woman using her assets as a means to seduce men in giving them material things, which eventually catches up with them.
The video for Go Away, shot by Cashflow Records’ Xtreme Art, was released in June and has already racked up views on the popular music downloading website, YouTube. The song is also a counteraction to Rihana’s Stay, which features Mikky Ekko.
Dudsymil, real name André Dehaney, also recorded a pop-flavoured track entitled Happy Tonight with reggae star Turbulence, which was released last month. The song, which was produced by Canadian-based label Smoke Shop Productionz, has attracted the attention of the general public.
He has also recorded and released Tell Me Now, on the popular French Kiss rhythm that was produced by DJ Constantine, a popular radio disc jock based in Toronto.
However, Go Away has proved to be one of Dudsymil’s most popular songs as it has garnered increased buzz in several prominent music circles as well as social media. The former Campion College student said he is very upbeat about his career, believing a breakthrough is imminent.
“A lot of good things are happening at the moment. My song is getting reasonable attention on radio and social media. Things are looking up at the moment and I will maintain a positive outlook,” exclaimed Dudsymil.
The versatile artiste, who grew up in Havendale, St Andrew, before migrating to Toronto, Canada has always had a special love for music.
“From an early age, music has been my main source of inspiration, even through high school at Campion I always held the dream of doing music,” he said.
Nowadays, since he became a pro in 2008, Dudsymil has been working hard at creating a name in music. He is now realising such ambitions as the attention surrounding Go Away continues to increase.
“Little by little things are coming together. I love all the strength that I am getting in Toronto from DJ Wiz and I want to especially big up ZJ Bambino who has discovered the potential in this song and continue to support it thereafter,” he added.
